ANFOG glider completes mission in Spencer Gulf, SA
At 5:30am CDST today, a glider from ANFOG's coastal fleet was retrieved after having successfully completed a 20-day mission.
During its journey, unit 104 travelled 520km, twice traversing the mouth of Spencer Gulf. Its on-board suite of instruments continuously sampled the water for temperature, salinity, turbidity, as well as concentrations of chlorophyll and dissolved oxygen. In total, 3500 vertical profiles worth of data were collected.
