Deployments

The thermosalinograph, chlorophyll and turbidity sensors operate on AIMS’s two research vessels: R.V. Solander and R.V. Cape Ferguson, which operate continuously in Australian tropical waters. The AIMS Voyage tracker (http://data.aims.gov.au/voyagetracker/) provides up-to-date information on the research vessels, including their present position and historical transects. The thermosalinograph data is shown for each trip and data is available for download.

As of July 2015, the AIMS historical database stores 200 transects from the R.V. Cape Ferguson (from Aug. 2007) and 144 transects from the R.V. Solander (from Mar. 2008).
