Your access to SOTS data discovery and exploration is through the IMOS Ocean Portal.

Southern Ocean Time Series data is available through eMII. If you go to this page you can also get .kml files that become animations of our tracker data in Google Earth.

So far we have only engineering data from the mooring and for now you can get it through the link above or our ftp site at CSIRO. The Position 2 plots show the last 20 fixes which are sent back at 4 hour intervals so we can see the recent positions of the surface float clearly. In the animations the 20 most recent positions are plotted in a contrasting colour.

Some sample plots are below. The MRU plots show standard deviation of acceleration so we can see how much the mooring is jumping around. The Tension plot is shows max, min and mean mooring tension just below the surface float.
