IMOS represented at Ocean Tracking Network Data Managers Meeting in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The Ocean Tracking Network (OTN), an international acoustic tracking collaborative project, held its first meeting for data managers on 3-5 March at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.


OTN, in collaboration with the IMOS Australian Acoustic Tagging and Monitoring System (AATAMS) Facility, is funding installation of acoustic receiver curtains at locations around the Australian coastline. The first of these curtains has recently been installed off Perth, Western Australia.

Representing IMOS/AATAMS where Andrew Boomer (AATAMS Technical Officer), Jayson Semmens (AATAMS Technical Committee Chair) and Stephen Cameron (electronic Marine Information Infrastructure
