ANFOG glider deployment off NSW: Chasing Eddies

At 11.00am EDST Tuesday 25th November unit109 (a.k.a.

Slocum glider being launched and piloted into warm-core eddy off Sydney.

The coastal glider has performed well travelling 380km over the past 8 days and taking 816 vertical profiles.

It has now made its way into the large warm core eddy which is currently off Sydney.
