Policy-Acknowledgement of use of IMOS data - June 2009

IMOS Matlab Toolbox - July 2009

The IMOS Matlab Toolbox aims to provide an automated, easy to use interface for converting raw instrument data into IMOS compatible files, ready for handover to eMII. The first stage of this project is underway, and is specifically targeting 'delayed mode' data; in other words, data which is manually retrieved from long-term mooring sites. Real time data will be addressed in a later stage of the project.

IMOS NetCDF User Manual (v1.2) and File Naming Convention (v1.3)

IMOS NetCDF User Manual (v1.2) - May 2009

File Naming Convention (v1.3) - May 2009

For many data types, IMOS uses the netCDF (network Common Data Form) system, a set of software libraries and machine-independent data formats that support the creation, access, and sharing of array-oriented scientific data.

These documents describe the IMOS NetCDF format and the the format of filenames that will be used to distribute IMOS data in netCDF format.

Moorings Data Workshop Report -September 2008

Moorings Data Management meetings have been regularly held with Lindsay Pender and eMII and where possible other ANMN nodes. A report was produced in September 2008 proposing a pathway for the standardized processing and formatting of real-time and delayed mode data streams, this report was well received by the sub-facilites. QA/QC systems and metadata systems are now under development and a dedicated programmer funded by eMII will commence in February 2009.

IMOS Data Streams and their Uncertainties - November 2008

This document contains a calculation or estimation of the uncertainty for each of the data streams that will be provided by IMOS.
